Le Palmier

If you're passing through Dieppe, or even a regular visitor to the area, I highly recommend discovering Le Palmier, an oriental restaurant located in the heart of the city center. It's a real gem for lovers of oriental cuisine, and especially couscous. As soon as you walk through the door, you're greeted with a smile and great warmth, which immediately creates a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant has two beautiful reception rooms: one on the ground floor, tastefully decorated in a traditional oriental style, and the other upstairs, ideal for groups or family meals. The place is clean, comfortable, and inviting, allowing you to truly savor the moment. During my visit, I opted for a royal couscous, and I can assure you it was a real treat. The dish is generously served: fine and light couscous, perfectly simmered vegetables, a flavorful broth, and an assortment of tender meats (lamb, merguez sausage, chicken) cooked to perfection. Everything is homemade, with care and passion. You can truly taste the authenticity in every bite. It's the kind of dish that warms your heart as much as your palate. What I also particularly appreciated was the very reasonable price-quality ratio, considering the quality and quantity served. Le Palmier is a generous address on every level, both in the food and in the welcome. A little tip: to fully enjoy your meal without worrying about parking, I recommend parking on the beach side. Parking is free, and you can then walk leisurely to the restaurant while enjoying the sea air. It's ideal for avoiding the paid parking lots in the city center and starting off in a good frame of mind. Whether for a weekday lunch, a romantic dinner, or a meal with friends, Le Palmier is a sure bet. A place where oriental culinary tradition is celebrated with passion and generosity. Go there with your eyes closed—and leave with your heart and stomach satisfied!
